Mankiala is a village in the Potohar plateau, Punjab near Rawalpindi, Pakistan, known for its Buddhist stupa. It is located some 50 km from Islamabad, beyond Rawat Fort. The name Mankiala is said to be derived from Raja Man or Manik.
